Worldline

2022~

Worldline stems from a curiosity: What if there were a parallel universe where I reacted and felt differently to certain situations? Would my feelings and emotions still have been shaped the same way they are now? Or would they have resulted in a different texture and shape?

This series references the physics term “worldline,” which describes the path of a particle or object through spacetime. Using a reversed diptych method, I print the exact same photograph on different types of paper. During the physical making process, I reverse and mix-match the prints, creating two unique mirrored diptychs that suggest parallel yet subtly divergent realities.

Through Worldline, I explore the idea of duplicated yet distinct existences—images that begin identically but transform into unique beings through material, process, and orientation, much like emotional experiences shaped by unseen shifts in time and perspective.
